• Based on the improvement of bank safe deposit box lock, another type of intelligent passive anti-theft electric box lock was redesigned. At the same time, an intelligent padlock was developed and piloted at the container terminal of Hutchison Whampoa. In the next 2 to 3 years, this lock was sold to various logistics companies and customs. What’s more, it derived from several versions, including stand-alone version and GPS positioning host connected to the front of container truck through cable, which can be monitored in real time and remotely. The earliest prototype of the IoT lock was its version of the big padlock.
